Social research shows that all future romantic relationships in a girl’s life are influenced by the way she interacts with her dad. If he thinks she is beautiful and valuable, she will likely see herself that way too.
That’s why Focus on the Family Singapore is holding a campaign to encourage dads to affirm their daughter’s worth and femininity by taking her out on a special date from Jan 14 to Feb 14, the month leading up to Valentine’s Day. It’s a way of telling her that she’s precious to him and saying, ‘Seek somebody special in life. Seek someone who is going to treat you right.'
